    Dan River Fly-In October 18-19

    Freakin brake lines blew out on my truck yesterday.  Took off today to fix them but once I got 1 section fixed another would blow. Stupid Chevy brake lines!!!  And I have found out this is know problem. Looks like I'm gonna have to borrow father-in-laws truck. So I should still make it....I hope.

    Just a few more tweaks and Chris will have knocked this one out of the ball park! Chris has done an amazing job on building and covering the Chub Cub. Everyone was commenting on it yesterday. It was a bit windy yesterday but the Chub Cub handled it pretty well. It seemed pretty well balanced...

    I charge my trailer battery through my 7 way flat pin connector on the battery circuit. Just be sure to put a fuse in there just in case. Here's some wiring diagrams that might help. http://www.etrailer.com/faq-wiring.aspx

    I have done all the above. I use ultra copper, no paper gasket and re-tighten while still hot ( not running). And it doesn't have to be a big glob of RTV but just a thin layer should do the trick.

    I like to use the white foam that came in box for my battery charger. It's about 1" thick and I cut it into a 5x5 square. I put it under my main tires also. I never have flat spotted tires anymore and after a while it cups the tires.
