Firewall is okay, the gear cuffs, prop and one wheel pant, not so much. Ordered replacement wheel pants and gear cuffs and have a new prop on the plane, just haven't had time to fly it again. :)- Dan767

I would go back to the shorter bolts, use a split ring lock washer and the loctite. My wild guess is that the longer bolts just give a better heat sink to soften the loctite, but I'm not really sure. I'm not having any issues with all stock setup that's the same as yours. I do have the lock...- Dan767

Trevor, Go to page 62 of the 8FG manual, you'll see a picture of the tail types you can pick. The option for the "AILVATOR" is the one you want. It's separate from the wing type. I'm basing my answer on thinking you have the 8FG Super, or that you have upgraded the 8FG to the Super...- Dan767

I am also running a DLE55 with the DLE standoffs. I have ply spacers on mine as well, with no issues. Try cleaning the bolts with alcohol and use blue loctite, this method has resolved my past issues with the mount bolts coming loose.- Dan767

Trevor, Not sure why you need any servo matching device on the elevators. The Futaba 14SG you have can do this for you. When you choose airplane type, the option for the tail type is there as well, Select the "AILVATOR" function and all the matching will be done through your radio. Dan- Dan767

Canopy for 36% Edge, Old Scheme
I sold my 36% Edge to a good friend of mine, it's the "Old" scheme blue and yellow. He's had it ready for his first flight but has dropped the canopy, shattering the back top half of the clear plastic (where it joins the turtle deck).
