I just cut a pinching groove in the side of it and clamped the lead screw in and cut it with a slitting saw. I used a coping saw to cut the groove in the worm gear you made, for the worm gear key. Hey Tony, It's not threaded, but it will have a 1/32 slot cut down the length of carrage travel. The gear you made will be turned by the shaft, or carrage handle, moving the carrage. I still have to cut the key slot in that gear that will mate with the lead screw slot.- Stevendavis

Scale Bud Nosen 1/4 Scale Cub?
Must have missed this one! I'm using a 7/8" OD wing tube. The sleeve is 59/64 OD. I ordered a 3/4" wing tube and I got a 7/8". When I called, they said that that was the 3/4". Go figure.- Stevendavis

Made a matched set of 1.245 X .5 x 5" parallels last night. They will work great as parallels or standoffs. I've got a mill fixture plate on the way.- Stevendavis

I went ahead and purchased one. I picked up a Micro 100 KC-125-190-060 Keyseat Cutter just for that job. It worked out good. Just made several light cuts to get it done. I should also be able to use it for making the T-Slots in the face plate when the time comes.- Stevendavis
