Monkey is at it again, I see. ;) Ordering parts without my knowledge! It is a cute little bastard, though. I haven't seen a little motor in a long time. Just gotta figure out what I want to put it in... maybe the little brother to this plane, we'll see.

Okay... that was time consuming. First plane that has taken longer than a couple of minutes to work out. First plane I wasn't able to get ideal geometry, resolution, leverage, linearity and synchronization without a total makeover. Leverage and resolution I had in the 3 pics I showed up thread...

@Spats is right with this plane. Unless you're willing to move the control horns AND the servos... just use the stock setup and go fly. I'll explain in the next post.

I thought about bringing up Torx. haha Yeah... I was thinking the same... laying up some glass. I was thinking of glassing on some steel washers, but my glassing buddy told me it would't work... but what does he know? (a lot actually, haha) Maybe lay up some carbon fiber cloth?

Square drive or phillips? haha I see a H9 Suk in your avatar... I need some deck screws to hold on that cowl! How'd you work that out for more than 5 flights? One of these days I'm going to get back to that plane (I bought new pink, white and blue covering to recover in a different scheme, and...

My inclination was to cut out the two inboard servo holes... but I talked myself into the far inside and far outside... for more durability in freestyle. :sneaky:

Are you guys using these servo screws? They sure make me feel more confident with these new high powered servos:

Hey Dimes! Yeah, usually it is best to just bite the bullet and start with a fresh model under those circumstances. We spend so much time wrenching and so little time flying that it is understandable that we don't always take the time. :) And, yeah, I am looking forward to an 18SZ, too! I...

We look kinda homo... genized... with the new one :twins: , that's all I'm saying. haha To me, you and I, or me and you, haha, are saying to the peoples... you don't have to make it all perfect, but if you do you might find you like it. I think your servo cases will last longer without...

Upset the apple cart, as usual! hehe I kid, I kid! I was agreeing with Terry, but didn't write it right. I need to be given a pass though, because I'm old. Yes, I'm playing the old card again. :)
