    What do you do to combat cabin fever when it's 12 degrees out and there's snow on the ground. Go fly. This is my little GWS tigermoth 400. I had a real hot motor on it but changed it for a more scale like motor. I've since put the Nippy Black Motor back in it...

    Yeah snowdog I just finished up a conversation about stalls is a crosswind leg in another thread. I too have lost a few planes due to this. It seems the crosswind are the ones that will really tend to bite you. I now always try and add plenty of throttle on a turn in a down wind cross wind

    Now guys some have said the little plane is twitchy but for me this has been an Ideal trainer plane. Mainly because she is so tough. I have been working on harrier landings and I am now good enough that I can start doing it on my gassers

    Of course I'm running a single bolt conversion but with just the FB ring amy DLE 30 puts out 20 1/2 lbs of thrust on an APC 18/6W. She turns 8900 on the ground. It pulls my 10.5 lb plane around like a rag doll.
