Just started repairs on my 51 slick motorbox. It isn't a beautiful repair but it only took about 15 minutes to get rdy to glue it all together. I used 15 min epoxy and it will be plenty strong.

almost looks identical to my MB damage. I did use some CF strips to reinforce my mb.

Hey guys,just want to know what everyone thinks.i am flying the 51" with a Eflite power 32 with a 60 amp esc 14/7 prop on 4cell 2650.I think it does well but have not flown it on anything else to compare it to. I was thinking of putting a Motrolfly 3615 on it .do you guys think it would fly any better with the 3615 motor.

if you make the switch to a 3615 your response will go from "ho hummm" to "holy #$(*#_)(#$" ==> Guaranteed!

Thanks I will try it.I can prob get the cowl back a bit more with the Motrolfly with the power 32 being 50mm long the canopy just slides under it.Do you guys think the 60 amp Eflite esc is ok with the 3615 and 14/7 4cell 2650m

IIRC I pull about 55 amps on my ZTW 60 amp ESC with my 3615. Some people like more headroom; this has worked for me. That being said, if I had a 70amp ESC handy, I would probably use it, but so far I have not had any problems, and those ESC's can handle peaks above the limit, just not continuous amps above the limit.
