my 100 has a 120 on it, feels a little heavy compared to 3dhs plane but it flies soo good. you won't notice the few ounces when you get it in the air.

Unfortunately this means there will be a pause in the action till I get the engine and the last few things to finish her up,,,

I will be ordering the motor this week... :)

I will be starting to build my friends 3dhs 104 slick this week while waiting on the motor..

Damn I'm hungry
If it's like my Aeroworks Extra 300 some of the ply in the bottom of the fuse is to make a tuned pipe exit easier. On the Extra there are two hatches on the bottom. One for a can and one for a pipe.

There does seem to be more room inside this one then there is in my Pilot Edge. I'm also interested to see what your final weight comes out to be.

I agree. Love my Pilot Edge but you have to "arrange" some stuff "all up in there!" now. But it is only 16.25lbs at take off (with a can). I am thinking the weight will be real close to what the EF 88 is.( DLE 55 and pro flow my buddies is 17.5lbs at take off.) None the less it is a single seater which I like. Same covering as the 100cc. The older ones where kinda heavy at 18- 19lbs???

Looking forward to a flight report! TONIGHT!lol

Well It has been a few days since I worked on the Plane.

I got the motor (DLE61) so back to work.

Had to open the fire wall just a bit for throttle push rod and choke arm to clear.

Got the Motor installed and according to all measurements I was able to just use the stock standoffs that came with the motor for cowl clearing.

Ignition is installed and choke push rod.

Last thing that I was able to do today was get the throttle servo and push rod installed.
