ROLLERMAN

Ok guys more reading material, I got the stab tube sockets glued in, very simple step, just cap the end of the tube mark it cut it with some extra past the root end so it can be sanded flush. So while I had that drying in place I mounted the engine, it was like a glove, so glad I used the mill to drill the mounting holes.

So I'm jumping back a forth a bit just to keep working on it. I have both stabs sockets glued in and I'm waiting on some servo bay doors from Jtec. I will be mounting the servos inside the wings and stabs. So in the meantime I worked on the can mounts. I used 3/32 carbon fiber sheet to make two plates and in between them I used a high temp rubber I found at work. They should be right around 1.8 oz each.

OK, so now back to sheeting, I started out some small pieces to get my courage up and a somewhat a pattern, very quickly the Gorilla glue lets you know how fast is starts to set, so you better have a plan. I started out with the top front hatch, as you can see all the foam has a layer of fibers, very important to clean it, just a light sanding and vacuum it off. I have all but the stabs and the wings sheeted. I caped the wing tube socket and will be gluing it in place tonight.
