It was confirmed by the EF team that the Laser and Edge are both designated 74 inches. The MXS is 78 without the tips and 87 inches with them. So it actually becomes a standard 50cc airframe from a few years ago before they lengthened the fuse to be closer to the wingspan. I have a six year old 50cc IMAC kit-built Godfrey Extra 300 that is 85 inches with a scale 76 inch fuse. It stand a bit higher, and presents much bigger, but with the wings off, that fuse and the 78 fuse are the same length. I'd still like to hear some weights so we can get the power system right. If anyone hears anything, please update us.

Update on the MXS by Daniel is that the wings were slightly reduced after testing and ended up at 85 inches with the tips.

My 60" EF Extra did a cartwheel yesterday. It was only 5 feet off the ground and moving 10 mph, so it wasn't streaking fast...but I'm still amazed at how little damage the airframe sustained. No visible damage whatsoever from the outside view. Upon removing canopy and cowl I found 3 minor cracks in the fuse. I was surprised at the lack of damage. What an awesome airframe. I believe the receiver may have lost the signal. The plane acted like it had a loose control horn, it just got squirrelly. I'm going to add a ferrous ring on the esc and do a range check. I've got 40 flights on this plane without rx issues. i'm not sure what happened or why. I'm running an AR6210 rx with the included satellite antenna and have a DX8 tx...

Two things to check I can think of. Is your satalite placed correctly in relation to the reciever? Also do you keep your radio antanae bent at a 45 when flying? Was the reciever light blinking when you got to the plane? That will show a brown out. The other thing is the servo. Did you strip a gear? That sounds a lot like what happened to my little edge and the extra shp. You could not hardly tell on the bench but they stripped gears. I hope that helps a little. Maybe we can get a better answer. Sorry to hear about the tumble. Glad she is ok. That is after all the coolest airframe in the whole world!
