3D Fibertech Hyperlite Slick 540 Build Thread

I am glad to hear someone is flying outdoors and Bipenut is getting better. Bipenut called me last evening and he is much improved and getting his truck back from the body shop no doubt helped. We all hope and pray for your speedy recovery. I am looking forwards to your updates on your build thread. A good sign he is better he is in his shop as I type this note working on his Edge 540 build!

Spats the parts look great and I see Zero on the Robart incident meter, keep up the good work and thanks for sharing.
The 29 x 9 Falcon prop arrived today and I was surprised it came so quickly. I didn't go on line and order it from RC Aircraft Components until late evening February the 5th, it sure is pretty.

Hey spats, looking good buddy and you are moving right along. I'm not to far behind you, I have the belly pan done and I will be bagging the stabs later this week.

I was planning to do cut outs the control surfaces to save some weight but the weight savings seem so minimal. Are you going to do the cut outs?

I didn't do mine, at first I thought it needed nose weight but after flying for a bit I had to add a little tail weight anyway so was glad I didn't. I believe @Bdegan ended up with his batteries way back in the tail with his coring.
