At this rate I won't have to go back there ever again!

You got it, if anyone has any questions feel free to ask I covered a lot of info "on the other side" and Rick is doing a build as well. I've told him about this thread so hopefully he'll join in here as well:

Thanks! Here are the internals I am using, it is designed for a DA100L, I flew one with a DLE111 and I have a couple of these DLE120's that are very smooth with a little more power than the 100L and DLE111

DLE120, stock muffs

Falcon Carbon (because they far outperform anything wood)

PAU fiberglass spinner with lightened back plate

IBEC for ignition

Power safe Spektrum RX

Savox 1283's and 1230's

dual 2100 A123's

Carbon tailwheel

White rose wheels and Ti axles

Will add wheel pants this Winter when I can paint them to match

When I get the pants done, I'll probably switch out the WR wheels for some super lightweight ones. I'd like to paint the paints to match the plane which will take more time than I have this summer.

Almost forgot, this is the actual scheme I'm working on. Just cleaned the shop so I'm ready to paint tomorrow.

Never say never, but I'm thinking probably not. I'd like to get some flights on it for triming, tuning etc. before taking it to a larger event. But.....like I said, never say never.

There is a good possibility that there will be three Hyperlite's at the DesMoines Harvest Huck however.

Actually you need to acquire your own sticks so I laminated unidirectional carbon to 3" wide x 3/8" sticks and cut the strips on my table saw. Adds lots of strength with nearly no weight penalty.

Sweet idea Terry. Would that allow you to use contest grade balsa or would that be a bad idea?
