3D Fibertech Hyperlite Slick.....sort of build thread.

This what I came up with scheme for my HyperLITE. The Wings and Stabs are fore sure but can't make up my mind yet for fuse. That will happen I'm sure the day I start covering the fuse. Colors are Ultracote orange, silver, black, white and pearl purple. I have started on covering and will post pics soon.

Most of my build is on the other (???) but will bring some of it over.

Man Rick , those are all awesome schemes , your planes going to be Bad Ass , not sure if I can say that , but there's no other way to put it .

Wow Rick ... Wicked schemes. I might have to steal... errr. .. I mean borrow ;)

one of these on a future build.

I really like your variant on the 4 squares on the wing bottoms. This slight curves are sexy LOL

Lol , I was thinking the same thing Bdegan , but if I'm being honest I've thought about borrowing your scheme a few times also . But maybe changing the blue for a maroon color . I think choosing a scheme may end up being the hardest put a the build

Choosing a scheme is the hardest part for me.

My scheme is borrowed ;) It's actually a scale scheme. It was the scheme Glenn Dell had just before the Red Bull air racing took a break 3 years ago.

One of our buddies is very Internet and Google savy. When any of us are looking for a scheme, we let him know.

Usually within a couple hours he has a list of links for us to go look at. Most of the schemes we have been doing the past couple years have all been scale schemes.

I was also thinking of using my same scheme again on my next plane.

But using metallic red instead of the metallic blue. :)

The move that really impressed me in Brad's video is at 5:15 - 5:17.

Exiting a knife edge spin while staying in knife edge......at about 30' up.

I must have missed that the first time, that was cool (but I may try it up higher). Also further proof that horsepower saves planes!!!!

The metallic red would be very good looking , I'm gonna use the advice Terry gave me , and start searching the web , i just have to find something fairly simple , I'm nowhere near as good at covering as you guys . By the way I followed your build and have to say you did an awesome job with that plane

Thanks guys...heck barrow away. Schemes decisions are always a little challenging if you want something different. Search the web find a few that you like and then combine and alter a little. Or just copy if needed.
