Homemade downdraft sanding table

She's all finished. And man does she suck!! ;-)
Used weather stripping on the fan end so I can remove the panel if need be.

Very nice! Glad to see others building these and finding out the benefits for themselves, that was my goal when I started this thread! I find myself using mine almost every day as a workbench and power strip, plus overall air handler/cleaner for the shop. Can't imagine how I went so long without one!

I got mine built this weekend, I need to pick up another filter and wire the motor and then it is ready to run.

Nobody has given me an adequate reason that a dirty/messy shop is better than a clean one. I hate working in a disorganized mess. Drives me completely batty and a small shop is pretty easy to keep clean. Especially in the warmer months when you can keep the doors open and blow all the dust out with a leaf blower.
