    Unfortunately, yes, I can confirm it. The wing joiners failed. It's totally destroyed.

    What would you reccomend doing to the wing joiners to prevent that from happening?

    I would recommend NOT following the plans for joining the wings and instead use a carbon fiber tube.

    It is a deep in the pit gut wrenching and sickening feeling when something like this happens. I am so sorry. Kind of bites that following the directions is what caused this terrible mishap. :cryin:

    I agree. I have heard that Hostetler is still flying his or at least it is still in flyable condition. I don't know if he did anything other than fly it in a circle though. There are very few of these out there that have been built from what I can tell. I hope that's anyone that builds one in the future will see what happened to mine and build that part differently.
