Started working on a double release mechanism tonight. Top release for aero towing and a bottom release for banner towing. I still have a few kinks to work out but I think I'll be able to get it to function properly.

Took a little bit to figure out. But I think it's going to work well.

Had a little free time tonight after I finished the yard work. Got the dual release setup glued into place. I'll have to drill a couple holes in it for routing wires to the tail.

Cool....was just thinking how fun this big plane would be to just do some relaxing flying with. Are ya done yet?

I've been making slow progress here and there so here's an update.

Finished up installing the dual tow release.

Then I finished beefing up the firewall with tri-stock.

The plans called for a solid cover on top of the fuse from the firewall to the windshield. That would have made it a real pain to access the area behind the firewall. So I fab'd a magnetic hatch.

Next on my agenda will be a servo mount for the rudder and elevator.
