Scale Nelitz 1/3 scale Cub build

    Still coping away. Not worried about perfect joints but definitely glad I'm not butt joining.

    Says here to transition to 3/8" brass tube, probably will use steel tubing.

    Just keep at it, the joints still look good, it’s just a matter of working through it, once it’s done you will be thankful that you took the time to do it.

    Thanks guys. I just need more time. A few joints a week isn't enough, I want real progress (ala 'stangflyer).

    Considering steel tubing in the cabin area vs. Spruce dowels for added strength. Similar to this build. It's a cub not an edge 540 but still worth considering. Thoughts? Thanks.

    Looking at the pictures I agree with the steel you have made luges on the steel tubing so that you can connect the struts nice work.

    Trying the idea of steel tubing in the cabin area. Might extend it to the firewall.
