Scale Nelitz 1/3 scale Cub build

I did a World Models 1/3 scale Cub and a buddy did a BUSA 1/3 Cub. Both of us used Gemini 300 twins (50cc). His looked better (scale detail) but mine had electric start and I fuel injected the carb with one of those early EFI units you could get for rc cars. Worked very well. Did not have the lean out or load up problems associated with glow motors.

Not sure about 1/4" stringers for leading edge so cut my own with my awesome Byrne's table saw.

Ripping the trailing edge for the 1/16 ply joiner. Saw blade is 1/16" so perfect fit.

Dude, that table saw is the bomb huh? Sure makes things so much easier. Just out of curiosity, do you have a scheme planned for this? Or are you going with the normal Cub Yellow?

Superb saw. Very smooth and quiet. I made my wife buy it for Christmas or my birthday then i made her buy me the Byrne's disk sander the next year. Lifetime tools, my kids will inherit them.

I assume Cub yellow. Might look at options though.

Well I applaud you on the accomplishment of getting the wife to get those for you.

I guess I would have to get me a wife before I could persuade her to get something like that for me huh? (Course she'd have to be a Red Head) Pretty sure my lil Pop-Top aint got the money. Heck, he so po he gotz the alley cats bringin' him his dinner. LOL

As many cylinders, cc's and strokes as I can fit in the cowl. Minimum 2 cylinder, preferably 4 stroke.

The Kavan 50 is a great fit in the 1/3 Cubs, the OS Pegasus is a little small (scale wise) in this size Cub. The pictures are of the Kavan 50 that I have in my Severin L4.
