And that was not it. The sitter came over so I came back out and that previous match was no where near a match more of a Cub yellow. So, based on the amount I lightened the first go around I lightened it up what my math said to. This time it was a far better match, more of lemon yellow. If you click on the picture you can go between the last one and this one and see the difference.

If you look where the arrows are the light is giving the same reflection, it look's real close to me. I think once the clear coat is on it will be good, maybe not exact but close.

Dang, I just have not been keeping up. UGH! Have to say, freaking amazing work. I will try to stay more focused.

Everything that is getting some black has been taped off, ready to go, later this evening I will shoot it.

But whilst I wait might as well paint. The black is done and working on some yellow I forgot about, the canopy. I actually grabbed it and headed for black and went whoaaaa, wrong color. So after finishing the black I cleaned up the gun and such and started again.

I have decided that I really don't want to do all the masking required for the silver so I will use some vinyl, I have some cut and will spray it tomorrow. I cleared everything a little while ago and have started assembly, the color is not a match but it will do.

The vinyl was painted this morning so tomorrow I can cut it into strips and apply it. Then I started with the tail wires, they are done as well as the lower wing wires and I will get to the top wing later I believe.
