Rant......Pre assembled fuel tanks.

I bought a fuel cap off of "Littlecrankshaft" thru his ebay store. Uses an O-ring to seal in the neck of a Fiji bottle. He included the metal fittings for the fill and vent as well. Set me back $20 shipped to the house.

So i checked my new 32oz tank and i can take the lid off. Its tight but just to be sure whats the best way to seal it?

My sealant on the tank was grey, it was very tight to get off but, any thoughts on what I should use on the outside to seal it to be sure?
