I charge my trailer battery through my 7 way flat pin connector on the battery circuit. Just be sure to put a fuse in there just in case. Here's some wiring diagrams that might help.

i did this: for under 400 dollars. i purchased a marine deep cycle battery and a solar panel, two LED lights, a switch, and two charge stations:

now, i can charge my batteries when i go to the club or even at home, right out of my trailer. at night time, if i need to get something out of the trailer or go inside for what ever reason, and my SUV is not attached, just flip the switch and i have lights!!! it is awesome.

Hey guys.  I'm in the market for a new trailer and I'm looking for a little feedback.  Has anyone heard of Snapper trailers?  I live in Fort Lauderdale and I'm willing to drive a few hours to pick one up. It seems that most are made in Georgia in the same plant.  This is one of them.  I'm looking @a 6x12 v-nose with an RV side door and either barn doors or ramp(not sure yet).  It has all the standard  goodies(I think).

Here's a link and specs.  Does this look like a good deal?  I'm also open to other brands/manufacturers and thoughts -good or bad.

Thats a hell of a good price!  I'm looking at a 14' V Nose currently.  A friend of mine in KY has it, and not flying RC anymore, but not sure if he wants rid of it or not....  I'm just hoping for a good price!

Hopefully you can make a good deal with your friend, especially if it's already set up.  I went ahead and ordered it but not before I made the drive up there to check out the quality of them.  I couldn't  see dropping money on something like this without being able to physically see them in person.  Being this is my 1st trailer I think it will do fine for my needs.  I wish I could have gotten a 14' like you're looking @but I simply don't have the room for it.  I pick it up this Friday and will eventually post up my pics of what I'll be doing.  So many ideas and I'm not sure what I want yet!!  Stay tuned.....

Finally got a chance to take a few pics of my new trailer.  I'm so happy that I made this purchase.  It's so nice to leave the planes in there.  Just hook up and go.  I even got my son to go flying with me yesterday.  He's still learning but I'm thinking he's going to want to come out more with me now.  I threw a couple planes in there to kind of fell out what I want but ultimately, I'll be installing cabinets up front and most likely some E-track with a shelf across the back, LED lights, AC on the roof, insulate it, 110 and DC.......and the list goes on and on and on.....lol...  Also managed to rip the counterbalance off of my right elevator today!!!

Great trailer! You've obviously already discovered it is a slippery slope!
