Paper towel, a piece of a rag, anything will work. Just wad it up and shove it in. (Not too deep, for obvious reasons)
You wanna make sure you take it out before trying to start it though, or it will flood the engine REAL QUICK..

I made a little "doghouse" for my batteries. The Velox balances at a point that's hard to strap a battery in (3S 2200), so I made a little box out of 1/16" ply, and secured it inside the motorbox. Now, my CG will be the same every flight, unless I use a different weight battery.

For some reason, it won't let me upload pics through TapaTalk..... Gives "this is not a valid image file" notice.

My 48 edge is like that have to stuff the battery way forward. Impossibl to get a 2nd strap on it. May have to make a little box to stick up there. To hold the front down just in case.

Yes, Steve makes very nice laser cut battery boxes. I had the free time, so I figured "why not make it myself." :)

I used popsicle sticks as a crossmember to hold it down.

I loaded my heli and the Velox up and went to the river a bit ago. It's about 10 degrees cooler down there, and a whole lot windier! I flew the Velox one time, and came back home. Hopefully it'll warm up some more as the day goes on.

A wise man once said....or was it Chris Farley? "you keep smoking that wacky dabacky and youll be livin in a van (and flying rc) down by the river. :cursing:
