Anthony, forgive me for saying this, but just because your ESC is "only rated for 90" amps doesn't mean that some magic switch is flipped at 90 and it goes no further. I flew a 70a ESC at 90a in the MXS for one flight and it did fine. An ESC's amp rating is partially about cooling ability. Also, with Castle specifically, I think I've read that they slightly under-rate their ESC's.
Now, if you fly with a logger and it says you didn't go about 90a, I'd believe that.
Either way, what is most important, is that your amazing new heli is safe on the ground, good job getting her down quickly and without further incident.
Thanks. Even if I was above 90amps, it wasn't for long because the esc wasn't warm at all. While the battery, as you can see, was quite hot. I understand the esc can handle more than 90amps, but on average my amperage is about 60amps.
Either way I need some higher C batteries
