What a great day of flying at Friendly Flyers in Jersey, GA today.
Temps started frosty but climbed steadily to the mid 50's. A bit of a breeze from the South/South East kept it brisk all day.
Had our annual meeting at 9:00 this morning and after the meeting, most everybody drove across the street to the field. Busiest I've ever seen the place, must have been 25-30 people at the field. Had lots of flyers, heck had 4 planes in the air multiple times, haven't seen that at our field in the 2.5 years I've been flying.
There were two planes that made 1 point landings (spinner first) today. The yellow EF Yak shown in two pictures below was one of them.
Got a chance last night to fix my servo arm issues from my EF 88" Yak maiden yesterday and flew it quite a bit today. 4-5 10+ minute flights. Man am I going to love this thing. (Mine is the Russian Thunder scheme on the right)
What a great day.
