Hi, were you able to buy the safety vacuum relief valve. Got a email back from McMastercar they do not ship to Canada
And I cannot get my hands on one.

OK, here it is,

this is a picture of my 35 cc extreme flight, 78" extra.
Would it be wise to go based on these dimensions?

the ratio would be:

3.375 / 15 = x / length of root to tip of the stab in hinge line

x = will equal the length of the counterbalance from the root side to the tip side.

any one have any thoughts on this?

Then I would lean towards a smaller elevator and no counter balance since a large elevator is not needed in IMAC.

Agreed smaller elevator, smaller rudder, larger fin. Full length ailerons. Good mechanical geometry. Should be good.

I think you will find better resolution (smaller travel needed) and less strain on your servos with counterbalance.

"burn the foam into a depression" can you please explain how you did this. And if you have any pictures. This was for the hard point in the end of the stab. Thanks

Correct, just don't need the EXP sized elevators as the EF has. To me the EXP stabs on the EF planes are just a hair too large, I liked the older one's better. I usually do about a 4" counterbalance on 40% planes and only about 3.5" on the rudder seems to be the ticket (for me).

you still need the large area, helps with spin entry and I would imagine with snaps. Just less travel for everything else.
