It was too windy to fly, so I finished my trailer. It works out great.

Is there any reason I should put a piece of plywood on the frame that has the extra on it?

That's what I was thinking, but just wanted to make sure somebody else didn't know of a reason to.

Maybe if you had power in there to charge the plane(s) while driving, the plywood would be a good place to secure a charger, other than that, I still can't see a reason for it.

Or some diagonal braces... somebody pulls out in front of you, you have to stop really hard... frame could potentially deform and work a connection loose... might be worth doing.
