Looks really nice. But....but....but...., they do make lil gassers you can put on that. HEH HEH....just yanking your chain there Mike. LOL

Ya. I've looked into those a couple times in the past for other projects. Haven't really heard much good about the smaller gassers. Seem like more of a novelty. One of the guys at our local club has one. I can't remember which one off the top of my head, but I know it struggles to pull around his plane. And keeping it tuned was a major pita.

On this project, I already had the motor and batteries sitting around. All I had to do was buy a speedo. Decided now would be a good time to test out one of the new Hitec speed controllers. They are about half the price of the Castle's I usually use. Plus they come pre-soldered with plugs. Hopefully they are up to snuff.

Word to the wise guys. If you have a metal building built do not let them put the radiant barrier foil in it if you plan on using spray foam insulation. I found out the hard way this week.:( They are cutting it out of my ceiling tomorrow so that they then spray actual insulation either Saturday or next week.

Ya that's a bummer. Hate to hear it.

So how did it go? They get you all fixed up today?

No shop time for me today. Left the house at 7:00 this morning and didn't get back home till 9:00 PM. Daughter had a basketball game tonight so I left strait from work and headed out to the school.

Then I had to take my turn running the concession stand after her game was over. That's probably my least favorite task in the world. Ranks right up there with paying taxes.:p

Wired up two server power supplies for a 1100 W power supply at 24v output for this new thing! Had to make one a floating ground first. Always fun in the shop!
BTW, the EF 60" Extra on 6S is amazing!

Yep, everyone has to have their time in the barrel! Between swim meets and baseball for my two boys, I am rarely home. It's always an after bedtime trip for me to the shop.
