Been working on getting the DA 120 ready for its new home. And I am really liking that CHEAP Sbach so much why not do a not so CHEAP one??? I think it too has the 3rd servo cut out for single servo ailerons. I have had 25% and 30% Sbach gassers in the past and they flew awesome. So just maybe a 37center is in order.

Any way the dead sticks I had with my EF 104 told me a filter system is going to be a must for where I fly. Somewhere in here are posts where I dismantled the carb for cleaning and found hard sand particles where one would normally NOT expect to find them after a dead stick dirt-nap.
I see that Seacraft has an air intake manifold (like the old 3dubs) that has an inside diameter of 43 mm and the diameter of this air filter just so happens to be 43 mm!!:). The "Arnold" filter part # is 490-200-0020. Available at Wal-Mart, Lowes, Home Depot etc.... intake-manifold-3w90d-m2n.jpg intake-manifold-3w90d-mn.jpg 0326161914-00.jpg 0326161915-00.jpg 0326161915-01.jpg 0326161915-02.jpg 0326161916-00.jpg

I worked some more on getting the 330 switched over to the Jeti. Seeing as how I am not running a hv setup, I still need my electronic switch between the batteries and the regulators, bummer. I had the other magnetic switch nicely concealed but now it will be replaced by a remote switch for turning the plane on after I turn the power on to the bird. The wiring is a bit cleaner now also.

Really like how you got your fuel tank positioned over the wing tube :attaboy:.

Got the P-47 on her feet today to check wheel/gear alignment before mounting the gear fairings/gear doors. All checked out good, so I went to town until....broke the 4-40 tap in the gear leg!!!! Don't think I'll bother trying to extract it, as it is in a spot that won't show. I'll just move the hole a bit and start over.

I managed to get the rudder and left wing servos matched with the Jeti last night. Then I retourqued the cylinder and case bolts as instructed by Ken Crane. I also added a single washer under the left side of the engine to help offset the pull to the right on uplines. I Hve never had to add anything to the left side before, always on the right side :)
