Did some more much needed TLC to the Yak last night. Removed all of the elevator servo screws and ran CA back down in the holes to harden them back up and put it all back together. I was missing one screw which prompted me to do that. I also went over the covering on both elevator halves to seal it all back down since some of the trim is peeling up, it may be time to get some clear to iron down over the LE to keep it all stuck down. Also sealed the hinge gaps last night on the Elevators since I've been wanting to do that for a while now.

The wings will get the same treatment over the weekend most likely.

Also just ordered up some new Pulse 2s 5000 Rx packs for the Yak since the Fromeco's are getting a bit dated.

I'm at the shop today bailing a friend from the field out on a painting project. He was having trouble getting the paint to lay down well on the cowl for a big P51 he's working on. I've never painted a "purple" P51 cowl before.

I got the cowl painted. It looks pretty good, but I wasn't thrilled with the paint he brought me. It's an acrylic enamel that had already been thinned with lacquer thinner. Not exactly ideal for a 95 degree day, but I managed to get it on pretty slick.
