I got the cowl painted. It looks pretty good, but I wasn't thrilled with the paint he brought me. It's an acrylic enamel that had already been thinned with lacquer thinner. Not exactly ideal for a 95 degree day, but I managed to get it on pretty slick.

Not much shop time this weekend. But I did do a little cleaning and organizing. Now I have too much room. Might have to find me a new project. Shop just doesn't look right with a barren bench.

I actually looked at that one. Then I remembered how many 3D planes I already have.

I think my next plane will be a Decathlon or Cub or something along those lines. Might rig it up for towing and candy dropping and such.

Get me a 1/4 scale cub. I gots a OS 1.20 Surpass four stroke begging to go in one.

Luv me some Super Decathlon action! That is exactly where my spare DA50 is going if it goes anywhere. After it goes to DA for some freshening up. It was in a Carf Extra for 10 years and could use a little TLC.
