Sonofagun.... Somehow my Tower order for my new ball links got mis-shipped to a different address so they have to be re-forwarded to the right address. Had them sent to work and was expecting them today, well now they won't be delivered until tomorrow when we will be closed

So then I picked up some Dubro ball links from the LHS because I really wanted to just get this finished for this weekend and I must have picked up the wrong ones because they're too wide to fit the control horns on the surfaces, and too short for my turnbuckles

So much for getting the Yak all tightened up for this weekend

False alarm. Someone installed the turnbuckles on the ailerons improperly (the outboard turnbuckles needed to be installed on the inboard side). Got everything all dialed, just had to dremel the ball links a bit to make them fit. Crisp as a fresh bag of chips, ready for the weekend

Here are some pictures of my new Sukhoi. It is the first foamy I have had that was not a warbird and I'm actually surprised how good it flies. Sorry for the dark pictures, the sky was cloudy at the field all morning.

Now for the bad news. A bad battery caused me to rip the landing gear out of the fuse on the last flight. I am going to call Horizon Hobby on Monday because there was very little glue residue on the landing gear plate. . . . . . The least they can do is send me a new fuselage.

Yes I have seen that sukhoi before and it looks nice. I think flight test did an article on it. Damn now I need to get back on getting my sukhoi in the air. Been sitting in the shop waiting on servos for over a year. Got two savox from @Terryscustom for the elevators but need the rest of them still.

I finally got around to charging the battery on my fuel jug for the first time since the initial charge when I built it. I've been wondering How long the 2500mah Ni-Mh would last with my Miracle fuel pump. The pump has made about 4 trips to the field and only took 480mah to recharge. I'm pretty happy with that.
