Went down to the shop to try and maybe escape the heat (close to 100 in the shade...) and the inside of the shop managed to climb to high 80's, cooler than outside but a few minutes was all I could stand before I decided to retreat back into the AC. My hopes are that tonight will be more tolerable even though it's supposed to be the hottest day today (my hopes may be too high).

My first time utilizing them. Since Bobby Retired at Cactus I have not required any maintenance....though I guess in the case of the one engine it should have went in for a checkup long ago, instead I just fiddled with it till I got it running good, just hard to start. Hoping all that is fixed now.

Well I didn't really do anything.......but I got my RTL/MCMaster Carr/PSPmfg packages for the Viper so I can bling it up a little and install the engine.

Also got a call from AI. Seems both my engines are in outstanding condition internally (running 40:1 Redline). He joked one didn't even look broke in. My hubs and gaskets on one engine where shot. seems the magnets were not put in right the sensor isn't working right and the timing was off. Probably why its always been a pain to start (Sh$t happens when you buy used engines sometimes). So he promised a good tune up on that one and I'm putting the alum reed block on the other engine since its apart... He's saying they both will be back by Wed/Thurs and not going to hurt the wallet to bad.

Don't you just love good customer service!

Bought a H9 Sukhoi a few years ago, need to get it in the air someday. Pulled out the wing box today, no shipping damage, which is good because it's a little late to file a claim.

So I picked up a nice OS 120ax with a pipe from a probro buddy today. Needless to say there will be many smiles and giggles happening when I push forward on the go stick.
