Just got the carby and bolt set. Crankshaft due in a couple days. Got a little engine bling going on as well. When the intake horn gets here I hope it is the red one. Plan is to mate it with a filter that will easily fit inside the motor box. Carb is not walbro as advertised. It's a "HUAYI".
Looks to be of very good quality though.

From whom did you get the walboro cover plate. Would like to get one . Have you ever seen a cover plate made for the other side.

I think with the tips the final span is just over 90" I'd have to check the cad file for the exact measurement.
Here are the wings I just got for it Friday. They're for an Aeroworks 50cc Extra 300. They are leftovers from Aeroworks closing so they are new. The hinges aren't glued so that will make life easier this time around. I'm going to add round tips to them like I did on Miss Moana. For $100 shipped to my door they were hard to pass up.

No matter what I do it wants to post this pic sideways.

Was able to take my mind off that blasted CAT 5 sharknado and got the DL50 dismantled.

Definitely tell it got "Lawn Darted" somewhere in its life and run hot. Upper rod end very sloppy and lower end had just one spot bad from the nose in dirt nap. Front bearing was oozing black grease and the mid bearing had totally separated its seal. The bearing spacer is seized to the crank and will need heat to remove. Normally the crank should have slid right out leaving the bearing and sleeve in place. Piston had definite signs of a worn ring. The cylinder was in pretty good shape but I did see some minor side to side play when I reinserted just the piston and ring checking for round. So it was a good call to get everything coming for it.

Well relaxed.... I just could not stop tinkering around tonight. Got as much done as I could without the CS.
Used red locktite to seal the bearings and pressed them in. Cut the old reeds in half and fitted over the new reeds.
Installed the piston ring and checked the fit. Piston side to side play was non existant. Really liked how the cylinder matched up.
This is turning out as if I had a brand new DL50 with all the "updates" :).

Even better it "feels" like a new one. Should be a decent running 50. Like you and your DA50 I am going to run a 23x8 Mejzlik vice the 22x8. Should do well with the canister.
