I didn’t think that as it was coming out of the box. But as I started assembly, it all went super quickly with all the included hardware and 5 min epoxy. I have it ready to fly for tomorrow!

We put in a 350' fabric runway a few years ago and the EDF flying really took off after that. Pun intended.:yesss:

We have talked about it because some of guys were having a hard time with some of the very small foamie planes. But with only 12 members the cost was a little to steep, hard enough just keeping a lawnmower running and alive.

For what it's worth. The new generation of 70mm, 80mm, 90mm, 105mm EDF's seem to do pretty good off of grass.
And my Avanti S even cuts through fairly tall grass. And you don't need very long run ways. But they are nice to have and asphalt is the icing on the cake :D.

I really like the Desert Camo Scheme. Quite brilliant... Would be hard to spot in the sky on any type of day. Sun, clouds, grey...

  8. It’s not particularly easy to see, but it will be fine. This one is supposeded to be decent on grass.

Well started a new build. Unionville Otter 6ft wing. Two nights into it and it’s coming together thanks to the quick work of the scroll saw.

Very cool. It would be awesome to have one around 90-100 inch then stuff an O.S. Pegasus 320 in the nose. Too bad a little radial is not available.
