The other end of the taper is a blank, millable. I’m going to mill it to a collet size and use the ensemble to center the rotary table.

I turned the blank section to .875. Stuck it in a 7/8 collet and used it as a crude rotary table aligner.

Would have been a lot cheaper to buy a 6” aluminum disc (future backplate) but it was fun making a mess. I paid for a photo compression app so my photo postings should increase.

Ok still building or I should say doing repairs. Plenty of time to do repairs it is either raining or windy. One good day and I smashed the Kaos. Anyway it is almost repaired. Just have to cover the top and install the gear and servos. Then back to fixing the fuselage.
