I was hucking like a pro in the back yard for one battery. For the next one, I asked my wife to film me and I promptly hit a tree and broke the prop...
Same here. My mom was being a champ last week and got the camera, came back outside and it was in a tree haha. Got it down but repairs and charging was a half hour and she had other stuff to do

That sounds like my flying at the inlaws last weekend. Was having a blast doing goofy stuff. Thought why not have my wife film it. And this was the result.

Get one man! Things I've learned from my Yak-
1. ABSOLUTELY use a thick piece of surgical tubing instead of O-rings. O-rings are less flexible and have less keeping strength than a good piece of surgical tubing. I went to surgical tubing and I'm not looking back. When you use an O-ring the prop hub last about 10 flights before wearingout and making vibrations. My props I've used surgical tubing on have lasted 50+ flights before the hub wears out enough to cause vibration. Surgical tubing is also 50x easier to get on haha.
2. You should use better servos. These foamies get beat up and the HXT500's on the elevator and rudder will strip easily. I'm upgrading to some metal gear servos ASAP.
3. Get the CG right, make sure the ailerons have no reflex.
4. Buy the wife some stuff to keep her occupied while you go fly for hours in the yard. Enjoy!

Always put the best you can afford in servos in!!!!!!!!!! Im suing 3 Futaba 3154's in my Crack Slick and OHHHHHH MYYYYYYYY is it so sweet!!!!!!!!!!!!
