Nice work! My personal preference is to put the IBEC on the opposite side of the ignition module for any unwanted incidental EMI that may find it's way over.- AKNick

Engine temperature sensor.
The aft cylinder is always a tad hotter. It's usually closer to the firewall and has a bit less airflow.- AKNick

Made a few gussets (laser cutter helped here) and this alone stiffened up the rudder more than the sections that are covered. So guess what’s next! Wohoo cover time.- AKNick

110" TIMBER Assembly Thread
I’m feeling pretty good about it. The break was just above the hinge but canted enough to make a decent splice there. The aft webbing is comprised of four different sheets at different bond points. If anything I’ll be putting in some splices and gussets.- AKNick

Started tinkering with the rudder. Started with an epoxy bond using some paint sticks to keep it aligned as best I could. Then found some balsa sticks to stitch it back together. Going to add some reinforcements and then sand and cover.- AKNick

My pleasure! I haven't printed it yet, I could do a test piece sometime to make sure it will work. AJ Aircraft is a nice family owned company. I spoke with Tim Jeskey (Andrews father) at Joe Nall and told him thanks in person for taking the time to double box and ship my 73" laser to Alaska...- AKNick

110" TIMBER Assembly Thread
Not much time to play with the Timber rebuild, but I did manage to install the gear again. Treated the rubber after a nice soapy bath. I previously had poked a vent line hole in the lower fuselage, this time I turned on the laser cutter and made a ring retainer.- AKNick

You guys are getting technical, I like it. Why no less than 2x 3500? I’d rather use lighter packs and switch them out more frequently (couple flights). Do they just maintain a higher voltage longer? The fit on those wings… sheesh. My 120” Turbobushmaster needed some sanding with the wing tube...- AKNick
