The 'What did you do in your workshop tonight?' thread

I checked on the X20 Pro RS with the locking switch, I googled the part number and sure enough the switch showed up on Amazon at the FrSky store for $23. The switch is a SPST device. I like my DPDT switch better, I have the channel programmed with the ignition on in the center and up positions...

I move the spring return switch from the right side to the left side and use that (SF) for the choke servo. With this set up I can hold the throttle closed with my thumb on the side of the stick and use my index finger to toggle the choke.

The 'What did you do in your workshop tonight?' thread

I was flying a few weeks ago as a guest in Alliance Oh. One of the fellows there was test flying a plane for another fellow, as he went through the switch assignment, he made a comment about the switch selection for the flaps and ignition. He thought it was silly to have the flaps and...

Scale Mick Reeves 1/3 scale Tiger Moth

The fellow that had the Valach 60 at the scale contest had carb trouble so I didn't hear it run other than a few test runs, he was quite pleased with it. The engine did look very nice. He had put a spiral diaphragm kit in it and that was his problem. He had a muffler on his plane and I was...

On the Super Cub, I stated with a gallon of white and a quart of red , the wings were painted twice and the fuselage was painted once. I have about 2 quarts of white left and not...

Scale Mick Reeves 1/3 scale Tiger Moth

There was a fellow at the Northeast Scale Contest with a Tiger Moth. Powered by a 60 sized Valach single. The engine and muffler assembly were mounted on a sliding plate that was removeable. I think I can track him down if you like. Didn't even think about it until traveling home.

Don't even try ironing without the parchment paper. The run may be on the bottom of the fabric, as Ace said iron it out with parchment paper.

Scale Nelitz 1/3 scale Cub build

A J3 Cub flew into the Chenango Bridge airport during the contest, I snapped a photo of the interior paint. Probably too late but good reference for someone in the future.
