The 'What did you do in your workshop tonight?' thread

Got to play a bit more with the iX12 and custom fit some photos to the models memory. I thought this picture was most fitting for the cub.

Welcome ;). It comes for a limited time in Orange, Yellow, Green or White. It also came with a nice glass screen protector (You have to install it but its easy) and HD black switches with rubber boots. I really like it. Every time I turned it on it only took about 20 seconds to boot up and be...

Glad your enjoying the HORUS. I wish I had the chance to actually hold one. That's the only thing that kept me from getting it myself. The iX12 case is formed just like the DX8 I had and is very comfortable to hold. I will say the 12 has a much better "tension" on the sticks and are fully...

Never was a FrSky flier although I did almost purchase a HORUS 12. I actually have flown Futaba for many years and switched to Spektrum a couple of years ago.

The 'What did you do in your workshop tonight?' thread

Now that my new radio is here I can get some shop time in getting all my planes ready for it. I first got the Cub set up so I could start the new engine. I must say what a pleasure it is owning the DLE engine. The 35RA was so easy to start right out of the box and runs great. Looking forward to...

Spent the last few evenings getting the Cub re-powered. The DLE 35RA and 20x8 prop should do quite nicely :)

    Yippee! What the postman brought

If that's the 1:3rd scale I had one with a Saito 300TDP. Flew nice but I remember having to land a bit hot with it and it did not like being even the slightest bit tail heavy. Would easily snap out of a moderately tight loop with only a bit of up elevator. Pretty much like a Pitts of that Era.
