    Trophy showcase

See you at Magnolia! It's supposed to get down in the high 80's here in Pine Bluff the next few days. Let's hope it holds out through the weekend.

Stupidest thing you have ever done RC related.

Conversation at our field a few years ago. Buddy had just installed cans on his 150CC / DA150 AW Yak. Him (We'll call him Wild Bill) and a couple of other guys were starting it up: *(Wild Bill is revving the engine) Me: "Hey Bill, that doesn't sound right." Wild Bill: "It's the cans, they...

    Too old to "HUCK"?

We have one in our club that is 70+ years old and will beat the hell out of a 3d plane.

    BME-102 or 3W-100??

Put the 3W on the Carden. The extra grunt will be needed and the BME will be perfect on the H9 33% because of the light weight. I flew a BME102 on two of my 33% H9s (Sukhoi and Edge 540) and it was perfect.

That's pretty dry for this part of the country!

A couple of questions on servos

Hitecs use 2.6mm screws. 2.5mm is a little undersized. I'm not sure it would matter though. Why in the heck they chose such an odd size is beyond me.

Nice case but it doesn't look like it has any padding for shock protection.

Favorite Aerobatic RC Airframe (Style not Brand) - POLL

I read once that it's a sign/signal of affection for her husband. Damn him.

Gong out flying. I don't think so. That's the top of our pavilion in the center. The river should crest today.

The I'm going out flying thread 2016

IMAC may be somewhat lacking as a spectator sport but entering and participating in a contest is extremely rewarding. Stepping up to the pilot box in front of judges and competitors to fly your known sequence and especially the unknowns, to me is unrivaled as an adrenaline rush. Hours and hours...

You certainly have the plane for it. The H9 Su-26 took the top three places in Sportsman class at the Wrightsville (Little Rock) contest a few weeks ago.

Just for clarity, I was ribbing him about the t-shirts. He used to have a reference to them in his sig line.

Guess I'll have to find some other activity for a while. That's our pavilion (Green) to the right.

Prop failure....... Have you had one??

I also had a 28X12 3 blade TBM branded Biela delaminate. In fact two of them. I really liked the performance but had to go to a Mejzlic 28.5X12S. Over 1000 flights later, no problems.

3DHS Slick eating Savox 1270TG servos

Yep. That's the one. I thought I had slop in the servo gears but turned out to be the arms.
