    3DMIKE I have done the exact same thing on a 50cc plane last year.... completely destroyed that plane on its maiden flight.... I almost got out of the hobby after that lol... I had no one to blame but myself.... You can be darn sure I check that EVERY flight now lol

    Well today is the best day we have had in a week as far as smoke goes. At least I can see the outline of the top of the coulee wall across from us. Getting really tired of breathing smoke. They are telling everyone to stay indoors if possible and if not possible then to wear a dust mask......

    I started out by putting the cradle ends on with wing nut/bolts so they could come off but I found I never took them off and the holes where the wing nuts/bolts went through started to get wobbly so I permanently attached the cradles to the ends of the saw horses and have not regretted it.

    I hope I can fly this sunday..... Smoke and ash falling on us!! If you havent heard eastern washington is on fire!!! Roads are closed 14 miles from us and now the winds are blowing 25-30 with gusts to 50 mph out of the NNE and thats where the fires are from me.... We do have the Columbia river...
