Like how you put the vertical to direct the air towards the heads great idea , this should help out a lot . Your killing me here when I see your wearing sandals while taking the pictures of the cowl . It's winter up here , snow falling , no sandal until May at least . Great work .

Thanks Cam , some of the guys in RC forums can be a little touchy about other peoples ideas and opitions . Yes the more brains the better i agree , that's how we get better at our hobby is by sharing ideas weather it's correct or not . Yes I don't have too many jokes and no Mom jokes for sure ...

LOL.. Geniuses well i guess maybe.:) That has come from many years of racing with an engine under a cowl and going very fast, we had to figure out a good way to vent the heat while keeping the performance stable . Im glad i didn't offend you about the lip on the cowl i should have guessed you...

This picture is from secraft site this guy even went as far to baffle the heads to control the air flow and the velocity stack is in reverse drawing warmer air from the headers . Iwould rather have it facing forward to get clean air . Again this is just my opinion and other flyers have a...

Cam don't take this personaly but if you don't remove the bottom 1/2 inch lip on the cowl you will create turbulence of the air before it reaches the cylinder heads and reducing the full smooth air flow towards the heads , I noticed that on Carden webpage with the spare parts that they did...

The DA 200 my guess will be 43.-43.75 lbs for that big bad DA 200 which is very competitive in my books that's what Brett Bullen Carden weights and it flys very will with that DA200 lighten fins (1.1lbs) and on canisters , power to spare . I'm guessing about 1.1lbs for paint and primer...

I been hearing the sane thing about the header length , a long header is better for torque and long pulling maybe even when using a three bladed prop . The shorter length would be good for quick throttle response but can go lean alot easier with tuned pipe resulting in high temp and possible...

Ouch to your thumb you have been applying vitiam E to help the scare tissue heal . Those wing plugs are a good idea like the soldiering . Those clamps will do the trick , maybe so high temp loctite between the wall will help the clamps keeping it tight .
