    Maybe start backing off the gas and push or pull the nose to 45° in one smooth motion at like 1/3rd or 1/4 throttle, the corners dont need to be sharp, but a radius , smooth but defined. I think of my throttle having only 4 positions, idle, quarter, half and full. Or... stall, turn, level...

    Do the hinges have a bushing in them to keep wear from egging them? Looks strong , yet I think id put a few more hinges inline there. Or was that all that was installed before?

    You might need more than 30 from time to time and its good to have it available, as in, serious crosswind landing or dead stick situation.

    You want everything you can get for full rates to hammer and have available at landing, mine is 47° deflection each way at full, but IMAC flying you use much less than that. Precision flying down to 18-20° or less at rudder, really depends on the airframe , expo and your style .

    Made my own centering tool from a white rose product already available, mocks up the engine very well, but you have alot of other factors with yours for its use I believe, carb cut out etc.

    There ya go easy peazy, measure out the difference and make a spacer if necessary to keep it tight. Dont forget to put down thrust spacers/washers in if you intend to use them to keep it purdy.

    Highly suggest finding these locks, try getting a bolt cutter in there ya weasel. Flip side is... if they really want in their gonna do damage to the trailer, and if they really really want in... they're going to regardless of locks.

    NEVER, make the CD walk the flight line or pits begging for scribes. Be available to scribe, its the best seat in the house and a great place to learn what the judges are looking for.
