    The are soft and spongy! The stock tires are crap...hard as a rock. Very hard to not bounce your landings with them, and the hubs to my stock tires failed on day one....along with the stock landing gear.

    First 3 flights in! Awesome machine. Very happy with my choice of motors. Equal power to stock, with more if needed with prop change. Cool running, 70 amps max. Long flight times. I’m guess 7-9 minutes.

    The last photo is what the manual shows as 'proper orientation' -- but the protrusions from the blind nuts would be stuck between the plate and the gear....this can't be right is it? They fit perfectly into the fuse as shown in the other photo

    I've got all the same hardware and am setting up now. Just want to make sure that it is ok to have the aileron/flap pushrod not 90 degrees to the hinge line and servo arm. I have the servo arm parallel to the hinge line, but the rod is not 90 degrees. I can post a pic if needed. Just never...

    AKNick with your 2" servo arms on the wing, and the servo arm centered, the control rod is not 90 degrees to the hinge line. Is this how you set it up? I know you mentioned something about 'equal distance'. Still learning here.

    Control horns all in -- getting ready to mount servos etc. AKNick I'm going with 2 inch arms on the wing, and 3.5 inch offset rudder arm. That's what worked for you correct? 1.5" ok for elevators? Is the consensus that the wing attach blind nut needs to be re-glued? Thanks Brad

    I just verified that my Scorpion mount is made to match the DA-50 bolt pattern, which also matches the DA-60. So I'm going to try one of these DA-60 mounts - and then add standoffs to fit.

    Clint that looks awesome! I think I can get the 7" Airtops, and put an 8mm bearing in them -- but earlier there was a post that seemed to say the stock Xcub axles are slightly larger than 8mm. I'll figure it out when the time comes. How are your flight times on 12s? I'd be happy with 7-8...

    Thanks I'd like to see your setup. I'd be happy with the 7" Airtops I think. I take it the Xcub axles would not fire the bearings on them?
