    AJ Aircraft - 73" Laser 230z

I got to fly Tims 73 when he came to Cedar Springs for the Wounded Warrior event. I think I got 5 flights on it that day! This thing looks like it would gobble up my 72" random-chinese EDGE ARF for a light snack! Had a buddy grab some video of my 3rd or 4th flight...

    AJ Aircraft - 56" Laser 230z

Loving my 56 so far! Behaves similarily to my 48" EF Extra, but looks and acts a lot bigger in the sky. Only about a dozen flights on it before winter came, but should get a lot of stick time this summer! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vUQiv6O_bLE&list=UUyaoLi5Zyg_qT47phsQ3JLA...

CONTEST TIME!! - Custom Sanding Blocks!!

So I've had this Great Planes F-15 in the bones since 1998....yes, you read that right...I started it in the PREVIOUS CENTURY! Due to college and small apartments, it sat in my parents basement for way too long until I finally got a house of my own. I'm now working on finishing it up. And since...

The 'What did you do in your workshop tonight?' thread

Landing gear & pants mounted. Flying wires done. Almost done! Learned a new trick for pull-pull/flying wires. If using nylon coated wire, loop it thru, twist it a few times and hold a lighter under it. The nylon melts and fuses together. Then you just put heat-shrink over it. Jesky said he's...

The 'What did you do in your workshop tonight?' thread

Working on the landing gear & pants for my 30cc GeeBee R3. Was sposed to get Oleos, but they don't sell them anymore so I'm reinforcing & modding the stock wire. Also wasn't happy with the gap of the pant & wing at leading edge, so I added some balsa and sanded to shape. Now waiting for the...

93” AJ Airplanes 93” Laser 230z ready to ship!

Yeah, the laser does have a 'chunky' nose...but it sure does fly nice! All of the airframes are stored at Tims place in Monroe, MI...so Andrew would have to stash some in his car when he visits. :)
