    I will give that a try next time I am out. I have been working under my theory that it's a fuel issue. That is after watching how VV starts it in a video, that the carb does not draw fuel quite as well or like other engines this size when starting. That is after it pops with the choke it tends...

    I start using the same technique that you use if flipping by hand. I first prime it by bumping against the compression to prime the lines, then witt the choke on and about 25% throttle I hand flip it until in pops. Then if I don't want to mess with an attempt to start by hand I put the starter...

    I am using a Mej 21x8 prop on mine paired with my EF 78 Extra. Its not my fastest plane, but it is smooth and keeps the noise down a little. I usually use a starter on mine, I have a small 4s lipo strapped to my old sulivan starter and it works quite well.

    Cool, I am not sure if I will make it out there much earlier then 10, but I will try. Rx batteries are charged and I still have at least a gallon of gas I can burn. I will also have a generator since power is the main issue out there.
