Reza has been here for a week and he's already giving stuff away! RED LINE OIL!

Okay, for fun I decided to pull a cylinder off of one of my DA120's. This one has been run exclusively on Stihl HP and has in the ball park of 150-170 flights over the course of about a year and a half. The engine was on my slick which I took out of commission back in October of last year. I...

    The stick bangers thread

I guess I don't really focus on controlling the roll rate per say but yes throttle and attitude plays a big part (at least to me) in the equation. I can't really put into words how to do a rolling harrier. I think alot of people get stuck in trying to time it to some kind of rhythm. You can't...

My .02. Ive found that i like less expo on most surfaces. Too much and the plane feels like a sling shot, meening like on rolls you hit the spot where its more sensitive towards the end of your throw and really mushy around center. I use expo more or less to linearize and take the sensitivity...

    Less pitch for easier landings?

Setup a few degrees of crow...start with about a 1/4" and that will take some of the lift out of it. I had that on my slick for the rare days that there wasn't any wind.

    IMAC hobby getting expensive

I look at it this way, most of us are hooked to RC like a crack addict is to crack...at least with this there are no long term medical problems unless your wife gets mad when you accidentally glue something to the cat...

    Brand New PAU........Viper-ST Announced!!!!!!!!

I kinda have a love hate relationship with the J&A mufflers. The first set was on a slick which leaked around the welds on the very first run. Same thing happened on my PAU Edge (maybe I was unlucky)...however, both instances they were replaced immediately with no questions asked and J&A...

I'm loving the 777s. I'm hoping to get my hands on some 380s around Black Friday if they go on sale any where. I did splurge and get one for the rudder on my upcoming edge but couldn't justify doing the whole plane when I have a dozen or so 1270s just collecting dust. Sent from my iPad...

    Brand New PAU........Viper-ST Announced!!!!!!!!

The problem with one pieces, for me anyways, is they seem to warp more in the sun. All my planes with wooden hatches seem to be less problematic. Mounting these PAU canopies is really only a 15 minute job and is alot easier to repair than an all plastic 1 piece canopy.

    Brand New PAU........Viper-ST Announced!!!!!!!!

I got a peak at some a few weeks ago, those servos are awesome and every bit as smooth...and they are noticeably/crazy fast. I'm hoping to get my hands on some when the black friday sales role around.

    The stick bangers thread

I did almost lose my new pau edge a few weeks ago at a fly in...Busy BSing, I put gas in the smoke tank. Lucky the smoke tank was already half full of smoke oil and I didn't have a flaming deadstick cause I did turn on the smoke. I thought the smoke kinda looked funny and turned it off and...
