    Good choice - you will like it. That prop pulls my Carden edge with a DA 120 steady out of sight on a vertical upline yet has good downline braking. If you exercise good throttle management on the horizontal line you will have a quiet plane!

    I used a bunch of fender washers to move the engine forward on my Dalton but an SWB 0 degree mount would be cool. I say 0 degrees because the Dalton has right thrust built into the firewall and the SWB mounts come in several different degrees.

    Looking good Cam! Yes, it is easier to have a friend help when you have to measure such long distances. I usually build by myself so I have to use all sorts of little jigs to hold things in place. Glad it worked it out for you.

    I would not use CA on the phenolic tube - use either 30 min or longer epoxy! There is a lot of vibration and shaking going on at the tail end. Besides the thick epoxy makes sure the little spaces between the phenolic and wood are filled!!

    Sorry, they are made from lite ply and just fit over the outside of the phenolic. If you "undersize" them enough they will be tight and won't slip but yet will still be able to slip them onto the phenolic and hold.

    Has anyone ever had a loose choke rod as per the ball check thiingy lets the choke close while flying? If so, how did you fix it? Carb is on a old model DA 150 WB 27 is the number.
