    Avgas is supposed to have a longer shelf life. One engine guru here claims to not have carb issues or tuning issues after a plane sits. He has a lot of planes that he rotates through his trailer, and they all run great. I personally don't use it though.

    OK, if it were me, if the curve of the fuse allowed room for them to fit, I would use the adhesive backed Velcro to stick them to the bottom of the fuse. Then I would glue a couple of straps to the fuse, shoe goop works great, or epoxy. If the batteries don't fit down in for that to work, I...

    Realflight 7.5 is 1.0 better than 6.5. You can buy the diodes at radio shack and solder them into an extension You can get avgas from the airport or buy white gas for the camp stove, added benefit of no smell

    Is there a reason you need a tray? Thinking KISS and just glue the straps to the fuse bottom.
