Direct to firewall would be ideal...and it could work in this case...but I am not sure I can get the engine in/out once I epoxy the firewall in if I do This (without removing the carb first)... I was cruisin' along and My Dad Passed away this past Wednesday. Just got back home but I don't fell much like building, and I have to travel for work this coming week so no idea when I'll get back into it...the DA 85 for it came this week while I was away so that was a nice box to come home to!- Wacobipe

New Great Planes 50-65cc Pitts M12
I saw the ad and turned Dr Evil on to it. He pre-orders it from Tower Hobbies last week with a mid-January ship date. Yesterday he got an email the plane was no longer available, it has been removed from Tower's website, and it was never on Great Planes website that we saw...strange.- Wacobipe

Yep! It could definitely present some challenges depending on engine choice ( I wanted to put a DA70 in this bird but ended up going with a DA85 as it will actually fit better inside)...but the lines are so clean and the access is very open ( from underneath the airplane). e I agree Kevin...I am really impressed...and there is no adjusting the wing...but the tail incidence has no reference (and the firewall does not either) so these can be placed anywhere the builder wishes...- Wacobipe
