    Canopy Helmet

I though about making those for our planes, but is is complicated and costly to make one for each model canopy. I use a wet towel on the flight line, and plane wrappers for the whole plane in the pits, rather than protect the canopy only.

    PAU 35% Extra 300SP Opinions

Those SFG's were improvised, and used only for the XFC by Gaby and Spencer both. They helped for a couple of the KNOWN maneuvers. I am not sure how Spencer installed his this year. Last year, Gaby's plane had two 4-40 blind nuts installed on each wing tip from the root ribs: tack the...

Sleepy, I will buy some Giant Scale News shirts when you have them produced and available, but for now, with the IMAC world just around the corner, it would be good to have a downloadable file here so guys can print their own to show up at the event. I know a couple of guys close to Muncie...

    3D PAU 100cc EXTRA 300sp

With which engine? CSpaced has a DA-100 with tuned pipes on his, and it fits fine. Different engines, different pipes and different tuning length makes it has to plan for all combos, but the back stop is easy to remove and modify (balsa).

Poll: What should we do with all of our old Swag from the other place?

I can see wearing the old stuff privately to mow the lawn or wax my car...but at at the flying field, NEVER! If it ever ever turned into one new member to "that" place, it would be one too many... I will renew my wardrobe when GSN is ready.

    IMAA is no longer...

I am sad to see it go to, but like many here, I felt it was coming for some time: when I flew in the early eighties in southern California, I hung out with Jim Meister (Meister Scale) and he was flying giant scale (1/4 scale was giant then). This kind of flying was often pushed aside, labelled...
